The Intrexon Institute for Biomolecular Research (IIBR) establishes collaborations between not-for-profit institutions and Intrexon’s divisions. These collaborations allow the institutions to leverage Intrexon’s technology, leading to publications, valuable improvements, and intellectual property rights.

Specifically, the IIBR provides enabling technology (including reagents and other tools) and expertise to support the funded research of not-for-profit centers of excellence. In some cases, the value of Intrexon’s contribution to the research may even qualify the institution for matching funds within various grant vehicles.
